This old countryside home in Lithuania is where our story began.

Long before Moniriart existed, generations of women in our family filled it with creativity, patience, and the quiet art of making things by hand. It belonged to my late grandmother, a remarkable woman whose creativity, strength, and way of seeing beauty left a lasting mark on our family.

But our story reaches back even further.

For generations, the women in our family have created with their hands. They knitted, wove, crocheted, sewed, and transformed simple materials into beautiful, useful objects that became part of everyday life. Creativity wasn't something reserved for special occasions - it was simply how life was lived.

Those traditions were passed from one generation to the next.

Today, my aunt continues that tradition in Lithuania, knitting every scarf with the same patience and care that have been part of our family for generations. I continue it in Greece, where I design and handcraft every piece of jewellery. Although we work hundreds of kilometres apart, every piece we create is connected by the same philosophy.

We believe the best things are not the ones we replace. They are the ones we return to, season after season, year after year.

That belief shapes every decision we make.

We choose materials not because they are the easiest or the least expensive, but because we believe quality is something you can feel. From fine kid mohair and silk to Baltic amber, carefully selected semi-precious stones and Japanese Miyuki beads, every material is carefully selected for its beauty, durability, and the way it ages over time.

We don't create large collections or follow fast-changing trends.

Instead, we create in small batches, allowing every piece to receive the time and attention it deserves. We hope that years from now, the scarf wrapped around your shoulders or the jewellery you reach for most often will still remind you why you chose it in the first place.

Every piece carries a little of where we come from - a family that has valued craftsmanship for generations, a small Lithuanian village that shaped our roots, and a belief that beautiful things should be made to stay.
